Vogel quotes Fogle in NYT
Carol Vogel writes in the New York Times "Inside Art" column about the first-ever Carnegie International with a title since the exhibition series began 112 years ago. Vogel quotes curator Douglas Fogle discussing the origin of the title, Life on Mars (a David Bowie song on the 1972 album Hunky Dory about a world spinning out of control) and predicting that the show will feel more like a curated exhibition than a generic biennial survey.
