The museum operates a six-level parking facility, with access at the intersection of Forbes Avenue and South Craig Street. The Carnegie Museum of Art Store carries the Life on Mars catalogue as well as a variety of exhibition catalogues, posters, slides, postcards, and unique gift items.

Works in Life on Mars cannot be photographed or videotaped. However, visitors to Carnegie Museum of Art may photograph the works of art owned by the museum, but those photographs may be used only for personal enjoyment and study. They may not be reproduced, published, televised, used on the Internet or web, or sold in any form.
