Parking
The museum operates a six-level parking facility, with access at the intersection of Forbes Avenue and South Craig Street.

Bus and motorcoach parking is available in the bus lanes adjacent to Phipps Conservatory on Schenley Drive, behind the museum.
Accessibility
The Sculpture Court, Forbes Avenue, and Carriage Drive entrances of the museum and the security entrance at the rear of the museum are designed to provide access for disabled visitors. Wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first-come first-served basis during regular museum hours. (Call 412-622-3131 for information.) The parking garage, restrooms, telephones, and other facilities are fully accessible.
Group Visits
There are many options available for adult groups visiting Life on Mars, the 2008 Carnegie International. Groups may choose a docent-guided or self-guided visit. Docent-guided visits are led by specially trained guides who facilitate the active engagement of visitors with works of art. These visits emphasize careful looking and interactive discussion. Docent-guided visits require a month's advance registration. Self-guided visits are for groups of 10 or more and require a week's advance registration.

Fees for adult groups with advance registration: Groups without advance reservations do not receive a group discount and must pay the regular admission rate (seniors $12; adults $15).

Cafés
The Museum of Art Café is open for lunch Tuesday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Fossil Fuels Café, which features gourmet coffees, beverages and light fare, is open Tuesday through Sunday until 4:00 p.m. The Brown Bag Lunch Room/Vending Area is open during regular museum hours.
Museum Store
The Carnegie Museum of Art Store carries the Life on Mars catalogue as well as a variety of exhibition catalogues, posters, slides, postcards, and unique gift items.

Life on Mars Photo Policy
Works in Life on Mars cannot be photographed or videotaped. However, visitors to Carnegie Museum of Art may photograph the works of art owned by the museum, but those photographs may be used only for personal enjoyment and study. They may not be reproduced, published, televised, used on the Internet or web, or sold in any form.
