Attack Theatre: Remainder, Phase Two

Attack Theatre dancers return to Carnegie Museum of Art for Phase Two of Remainder, a 10-month process/performance inspired by Life on Mars.
Daily film screenings of Sharon Lockhart's Pine Flat in Carnegie Museum of Art Theater

Additional screening Thursdays at 5:00 p.m.

Tour Day!!!

I had to stop for a few minutes to just express a few thoughts while on my tour. My students off into the galleries writing about a work that they felt engaged with...so I wanted to write my thoughts as well.
What a fantastic day!!! I was disappointed at first because of the small group size but it turned out to be a blessing! We had 2 small groups that were fully engaged and vocal about what they saw. They were willing to discuss what they liked and what they didn't. It was fantastic. Our docents were superb and kept the students discussing and questioning.
My students are now out in the galleries enjoying writing because they want to think further about the works...Can you believe it High School Students enjoying writing! I've seen what they are writing too...its not just phrases to get it done they are wanting to express their thoughts.
I hope the excitement stays so we can blog and discuss the pieces.
This has been a fulfilling day as an educator.
