University DocentsThe University Docents Training Program is a pilot program of Carnegie Museum of Art's Department of Education designed to introduce outstanding undergraduates from Pittsburgh-area universities to the museum's mission to reach college audiences on the occasion of
Life on Mars. Students become acquainted with the cultural history of the museum, the
Carnegie International, and the 39 contemporary artists featured in the exhibition. Strategies for engaging the public with works of art spanning many diverse media will be addressed. University interns, upon successful completion of the seven-week training program, will conduct tours of

Zero Gravity
Zero Gravity is the
Life on Mars High School Audience Engagement Project. Thirty teenagers from schools around Southwestern Pennsylvania assemble weekly at Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh for an inimitable museum internship experience. Visit
