Emmanuel Iduma’s Travelogue is based on the 14-day research trip Curator Ingrid Schaffner conducted with Companion Carin Kuoni to Morocco for the closing of the Marrakesh Biennial, Senegal for the opening of the Dakar Biennial, and Lagos, Nigeria in May 2016.
Emmanuel Iduma, a Nigerian writer and art critic, is the author of the novel The Sound of Things to Come. A Sum of Encounters is also the title of his online publishing project to produce profiles of Nigerian artists. He is a regular contributor to magazines, journals, and exhibition catalogues. He graduated from the MFA program in art writing at the School of Visual Arts, where he now teaches. A Stranger’s Pose, Iduma's book of travel stories and meditations, is forthcoming.
